The governors and the sponsor of the academy, Northern Education Trust, are now seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant, to provide high quality support to students, and assist teachers.
We are seeking to appoint an excellent practitioner with a passion for learning and developing a child's talents whilst meeting their needs through a range of strategies that can support their inclusion. Working within a team under the direction of our SENCO, the successful candidates will be energetic and determined, empathetic but assertive. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the use of ICT and practical activities to enhance learning and will be fully committed to helping students achieve high standards of academic success.
In 2018 we achieved our best ever GCSE results. This places us as the top school for Progress 8 in Stockton Local Authority. The percentage of students achieving a grade 5 in English and Maths increased by 26 percentage points to 61% with 76% achieving a grade 4 in both.
