You will have recent relevant experience of working in a Social Care setting dealing with enquiries from the public or agencies. A sound knowledge base and understanding of roles and responsibilities within Social Care is essential, ideally including knowledge of current developments and service pathways.

You will be a first point of contact for the public and professionals. You will be involved with initial Safeguarding enquiries, completion of social care assessments, support plans and reviews. You will need good administrative skills and a proven experience of developing, maintaining and inputting information on electronic based systems.

You will be able to demonstrate sound analytical skills and effective decision-making within appropriate timescales; demonstrate a person-centred approach and be able to act in a tactful and sensitive manner with people who access services.

The successful applicant will receive regular supervision and an annual appraisal, be well supported and have opportunities in respect of their career development, including experiencing a variety of roles within adult social care.
