An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Landscape Officer required until 18th September 2019 or the day before the return of the substantive post holder.

The successful applicant will:-

* work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of landscape architects, landscape managers and arborists providing specialist advice to a range of service areas within the Council

* provide specialist landscape advice on planning matters including planning applications on a range of development types and applications made under the Hedgerow Regulations

* assist in the administration of the Council's Field Boundary Restoration Grant.

Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent in an environmental discipline together with having relevant practical experience encompassing landscape and countryside management.

Interviews are scheduled to be held on a date to be confirmed.
