This post is hosted by Hartlepool Borough Council’s Countryside Access Team, in a collaborative Local Authority partnership that includes Stockton, Darlington, Middlesbrough and Hartlepool Borough Councils. This partnership plays a significant role in the development of the Tees Valley Local Access Forum
You will have a qualification in NVQ 3 Business, Admin or equivalent, with experience of community engagement and liaison, as well as experience in working with volunteers.
You will work for and on behalf of the Tees Valley Local Access Forum (TVLAF).
Your role will be to administer and develop the TVLAF and assist its members in the continuing development and expansion of its role and activities.
Experience required:
• Dealing with the public and office administration is required
• Working in a multi disciplined team
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Working with other agencies and promoting joint working
• Preparation and production of desk top publishing materials
You should be able to travel to all four of the Tees Valley authority areas (Stockton, Darlington, Middlesbrough and Hartlepool) as part of the normal work programme.
