We have a vacancy for a School Crossing Patrol officer on the Great North Road (near the junction with Broadway East) in Gosforth to support children and adults attending several Gosforth Schools in the area.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent time keeper and have very good communication skills to work with the general public.

This role involves assisting children and adults across the road at the start and end of the school day, controlling traffic and communicating with the general public.

The successful applicant should be willing to undergo any training required, have a general understanding of road safety practices and have experience of working with the public.

The post will be for 12 hours per week term time only. This is a permanent post.
