Darlington is seeking to recruit a Social Work Practitioner to work within the Children's First Response Team. This role is based alongside other colleagues from partner agencies and provides a first response to families who require social work support. The team is fast paced and short term and you will need to be able to respond quickly as situations arise. You will need to have an understanding of Child in Need and Child Protection procedures and thresholds.
You will have access to regular training and support from senior managers, as well as an up to date modern caseload management systems and a Local Authority that insists on regular reflective supervision.
