A permanent professional and enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer is required to join the Environmental Health Team within the Public Protection Service. An Officer with a specialism in Food is required and holds the CIEH Environmental Health Registration Board Certificate.

There are 2 permanent posts available
1 x 37 hours per week
1 x 22.2 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with the relevant level of experience in an Environmental Health background. The candidate will have worked previously as an Environmental Health Officer in a local authority.

This is a varied role to include all areas of Food Safety and previous experience in Food Safety enforcement is essential including the ability to inspect high risk and complex food processes.
