We are seeking to appoint a Home Improvement Officer within the Housing Capital Programme Team.

The Council is committed to promoting independence and enabling people to live in their own home. You will deliver needs Disabled Facilities Grants, respond to complaints; and give advice to homeowners on housing options and property improvement.

Applications are sought from individuals with a technical expertise in delivering adaptations or similar works to properties; with experience of working in partnership with a range of partners to deliver positive outcomes for clients.

The role is challenging and varied and you will need to be flexible and able to prioritise a workload with conflicting deadlines.
