Further Information
You will assist with the undertaking of repairs to the Council’s void properties to the highest standards. This will include the removal of existing structures and fixtures, removal of household furniture, rubble and effects from gardens, lofts and room areas, the cleaning of surfaces including floors, worktops, paint work, pointing of brick work, fencing repairs, and cutting and strimming of all gardens. You will be part of a team working on all void properties to a high standard. You will have a sound knowledge of a wide range of construction trades, processes, components and equipment along with knowledge of practical construction site health and safety.
You will be educated to NVQ Level 2 minimum trade qualification, have extensive general building site labouring experience and experience in a customer facing environment. You should have good communication skills, be a team player with sharp eye for detail and have experience working on scaffolds in various weather conditions.
This post may involve travel to various locations within county therefore you must be able to meet the transport requirements.
