Benefits Support Officer required to provide proactive and relevant specialist benefits support to the Financial Safeguarding Team in relation to COP/Appointee customers. The successful candidate will support the team with the review processes in relation to customer claimant responsibilities and escalate complex benefits issues appropriately.
The post holder will specifically monitor the benefit issues/capital limits of adult social care customers in relation to impact on social care contributions.
This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service
