The posts of Assistant Facilities Officers have been created following a review of the council’s Facilities Management function. The post holders will be accountable for managing a specific building(s) and the cleaning staff within a designated geographical area aligned to the area based Facilities Officer. The main responsibilities will be to provide an efficient, effective Facilities Management service to ensure the building(s) are operated in accordance with service business needs, statutory requirements placed upon the Council and to the agreed maintenance standards, providing a key link between the Building Users, Maintenance Staff and the FM Managers.

Required: Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject

The post will be based at Aycliffe Secure Centre which is a controlled Secure environment. Successful applicants will be required to attend a site visit prior to the interview.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held on 4th February 2019.
