Experience in School Meals Catering and a NVQ Level 1 is required along with the Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, please state if you have this on your application form.
Assistants Cook required to work alongside the Unit Supervisor and their team.
Duties include weighing up, cooking, baking and helping with the lunchtime rota.
Serving the children and encouraging them to eat healthily supporting the Unit Supervisor with the provision of special diets.
Providing a Healthy Nutritious meal in line with Food Based Standards, washing up and cleaning the dining halls following the service.
