Required September 2019

Walbottle Campus is an 11 to 18 secondary school and sixth form with approximately 1650 students, occupying a large, beautiful site in the Tyne Valley. The school has a thriving community of students, parents, staff and governors who work together to provide an engaging learning environment which encourages students to reach their full potential.

The most recent OFSTED inspection (July 2016) judged the overall effectiveness of the school as good, and importantly the vision of the school was recognised: "The school promotes a can-do culture that encourages and celebrates success. Pupils develop into confident young people and they enjoy coming to school."

The core values of respect, ambition and determination are demonstrated throughout the curriculum as well as within extra-curricular opportunities. Academic excellence is at the heart of the school and learning is designed to be exciting, stimulating and relevant to students' lives in the 21st century.

The School requires for September 2019 a Teacher of Physics to join our well established and supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has a vision for innovative learning and teaching strategies to ensure the highest standards of achievement for our students. Applications from NQT are welcomed and an excellent programme of support is in place to ensure successful completion for staff.

Closing date for applications: Monday 4 February 2019 at 9am.
