Together for Children works on behalf of Sunderland Council to deliver children’s services in the city including social care, early help and education.
The company is seeking to appoint an experienced manager to lead on the development and implementation of an assurance framework. The successful candidate will also lead the delivery of an engagement strategy that captures and implements the views of children and their families. This role will include a critical focus on ensuring regulatory conformance and compliance with quality control systems, the implementation of learning and development plans and overall quality improvement.
The successful candidate will be a committed, creative and passionate professional who has experience of driving quality and improvement and who has direct experience of working with children, young people and families.
This position is a politically restricted post as identified by Together for Children and in accordance with The Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (LGHA).
