The main duties of the post are to provide a full range of professional support in the area of exhibition and collection access across Cultural Services venues in Hartlepool.

Hartlepool Art Gallery sits centrally within the cultural quarter of the town and is part of the Church Street innovation and Skills Quarter (ISQ). It is a stunning and beautifully restored Grade II Victorian church.

Our Collection includes items of both regional and national significance. Our Fine Art collection is made up of traditional and contemporary items, which includes works by renowned artists including Lucian Freud, Frank Auerbach and Alice Nicholson.

For this post you should have a relevant degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject; relevant exhibition experience and be conversant with museum manual and computerised documentation and information retrieval systems. You should be committed to equality and diversity, with the ability to communicate with people across all audiences.
