Caretaker/Handyperson

Permanent Post to commence March 2019

Salary: Grade 2 £16,863 to £17,391 per annum

Required for March 2019

Full Time - 37 hours
Hours: Monday – Friday 6.00am – 9.30am and 2.30pm – 6.30pm (6.00pm Friday)


The school is seeking to appoint a reliable, hard-working caretaker/handyperson who is committed to maintaining high standards of maintenance and cleanliness and is able to work as part of the cleaning team.

The post holder will be accountable for the provision of an effective caretaking and cleaning service ensuring the school operates in accordance with business needs, statutory requirements in terms of building safety and compliance and to ensure that routine and planned maintenance is undertaken to the agreed standards, providing a key link between school based staff, building users, and other building related council services.

Required Qualifications: Basic literacy and numeracy skills
