This post is a key function within the Community Learning Service part of Middlesbrough Council. The purpose of this post is to deliver teaching learning and assessment within the Alternative Vocational Provision 14-19.
 
 The successful applicant will:
 
Deliver innovative Teaching, Learning & Assessment to support learners to be curious, interested and keen to learn.

Ensure classroom management is addressed in all areas of the curriculum delivery. Ensure teaching support is specifically directed and effective in all aspects of the teaching environment.

Promote, English, mathematics and ICT skills and ensure they are embedded within the programme delivery. This should also include British Values, Prevent, Safeguarding and diversity.

Contribute and promote a culture where there are consistently high expectations that all learners will achieve well and are making substantial and sustained progress.

Ensure that learners understand how their education and training equip them with the behaviours and attitudes necessary for success in the future and be the lead contact for Information advice and guidance for learners within your teaching area.
