Further Information
The Council are keen to recruit Casual School Crossing Patrols to work in various locations around the County to cover a site or group of sites when the regular patrol is off work. Successful applicants will receive full training and uniform.

Casual vacancies exist in the following areas :-

Bishop Auckland/ Shildon /Toft Hill
Mid-Durham, including Newton Hall, Sherburn, Brandon
Peterlee /Hordon / Easington
Seaham /Murton

Access to transport or means of mobility support is desirable as travel within a geographical area may be needed and therefore the post may attract casual business mileage.

The successful applicant will receive full-training, uniform and an appropriate retainer payment will be paid during the school holidays.

The position is Grade 1 – range starting £8.74 per hour to £8.81 per hour.

The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
