Mission Statement: Our Vision and Values
AIMING HIGHER, ACHIEVEMENT FOR ALL
At Birtley East Community Primary School we keep the whole child in mind. Our professional and skilled team work together to develop all children in our care to achieve their full potential. Teaching and learning is shaped by a curriculum designed to meet the needs of our community, including an additional curriculum focus on children's wellbeing and involvement. Everything we do is underpinned by our supportive, caring and inclusive ethos.
The Governors and Headteacher of this happy, successful school are seeking an enthusiastic and hard working HLTA to work in our Early Years. Applicants should demonstrate that they:
Have relevant skills and experiences with children within this age range;
Are able to support children with a variety of learning needs;
Have a good understanding of child development;
Are able to work within a cohesive and dedicated team, playing a positive role
in delivering intervention and supporting the education of our pupils;
Are able to work independently, learning the teaching in some sessions.
In return, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated, professional and talented staff team in a supportive environment with children who are enthusiastic, fully engaged in their learning and who enjoy coming to a school they are very proud of.
We are a safeguarding school. Children at Birtley East are taught how to keep themselves safe, including identifying harmful behaviour and how to seek help when they feel unsafe. All staff at our school are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
If successful you will need to apply for an enhanced Disclosure.
