Teacher of English with Literacy Across the Curriculum
Hummersknott Academy is a very popular, oversubscribed 11-16 school.
We are looking for an outstanding, passionate and dynamic teacher to join our hard working, well-resourced English Faculty. The ideal candidate will offer high quality teaching at KS3 and KS4 and have a passion for working with young people. Applicants will be expected to have excellent subject knowledge and enjoy working as part of a creative team which continually looks to deepen its understanding of the new GCSEs and to improve its delivery of content through sharing of best practice.
This is also an exciting opportunity to work with colleagues outside of the English Faculty to develop and support them in their teaching of literacy.
