Further Information
We are seeking a suitably qualified teacher of Religious Studies from September 2019. We are a popular Academy, consistently oversubscribed, with standards at KS4 rising rapidly. Examination results are good, progress in 2018 being in line with the national average and showing a three year upward trend of improvement. We have a challenging curriculum in which Religious Studies plays a vital part and is central to our development of the child as a whole.

As a member of a strong and well-established team, you will teach students across the ability range and foster a love of Religious Studies through teaching which supports, engages and challenges learners to achieve their best. You will join a Religious Studies department, and Humanities Faculty which are popular and successful subjects with our students. On average, in 2018, students achieved over a grade higher in Religious Studies compared to their other subjects in the Academy.

Applications are welcomed from newly qualified teachers or an experienced teacher seeking development into future subject leadership. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the age and ability range.

The Academy is committed to all aspects of personal development, is inclusive and seeks to ensure every individual achieves.
