We are looking for someone to contribute to the promotion of a comprehensive Tourist Information Service to residents and visitors in Northumberland and to assist in the day to day operations of the Tourist Information Centre. You will be expected to answer telephone calls, assist visitors, take messages and answer all enquiries on a wide range of tourist information issues in a helpful and efficient manner, and as such, you must have excellent customer care skills and be able to relate effectively with a wide range of customers.

There are 2 positions available at Seahouses, on a part time basis of 13 hours and 6.5 hours a week.
Both positions are fixed term for 7 months. Some Saturday and bank holiday working will be required.

There will be a requirement to actively promote sales of tickets, information, literature and souvenirs and to replenish and merchandise all stock and information, and also carry out cash reconciliation and banking processes as required.

We are looking for recent experience in a customer focused area and you will have effective IT skills.
