We are looking for a Learning & Development Apprentice to work across the Company but reporting in to the TfC HR Department on a fixed term apprentice contract for 2 years.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone taking their first steps into office work and would be a great start, in particular, for a person interested in working in the field of Learning & Development.

The successful candidate will be a team player who takes pride in producing quality work. Commitment to personal development is also key and drives to complete their studies a must.
As part of the apprenticeship scheme you will be extending time out of the office to undertake your assessments and to complete all work required to achieve a Level 3 qualification in Learning & Development.
Key tasks will include:
• Assisting the Chief Social Worker, Practice Learning Coordinator and Human Resources Manager in delivery of the Children’s Workforce Strategy;
• Ensuring the TfC training offer is updated and fully communicated to the workforce;
• Promoting the TfC Academy;
• Booking staff onto Training Courses;
• Ensuring that the Practitioners Portal is up to date;
• Booking training rooms and hospitality;
• Sending out joining instructions;
• Keeping records up to date;
• Assist with Apprentice Levy;
• Complete all practical and theory tasks and assignments required for completing level 3 NVQ; In Business & Administration;
• Development of effective working relationships;
• Commitment to learning at college;
Essential:
• Grade C (level 4) minimum in English and Maths
• Previous use or basic understanding of Microsoft packages (Office, Word and Excel)
• Team player
• Good communication skills ( both written and verbal)
