First Class Supply are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants who have experience of working with Primary school pupils with Attachment Disorder. Positions are available on both a daily and longer term basis, and in various year groups. These opportunities are available throughout the spring term, in addition to new roles which will commence in April 2019. Roles are available for a range of full and part time hours, meaning we are able to provide you with a position that suits your lifestyle.
Your duties will be to assist the class teacher with activities, and to give additional support to small groups or pupils on a one to one basis. Your numeracy and literacy skills must be of a good standard as you will be helping pupils with reading, writing and numeracy.
Successful applicants will:
- Hold a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant child care discipline
- Have experience of working within a school or nursery setting
- Be committed to making a real difference to the lives of pupils
- Be pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
- Have experience of working with Attachment Disorder
- Be flexible to work in areas within North Tyneside
