Do you have an enquiring mind? Do you have experience of enforcing legislation? Do you enjoy new challenges? If the answer to all 3 questions is "Yes" then you may be just what we are looking for.

The post involves a range of duties relating to the enforcement of licensing legislation including vehicles, persons and premises.

You will have a minimum of 2 years enforcement experience, be an effective communicator and have a working knowledge of licensing legislation (particularly taxi and premises licensing), procedures and practices, preferably in a local government setting although training will be given on an ongoing basis.

The post requires an average of up to 24 hours each month out of office working during the evenings and at weekends and those hours will form part of a 37 hour week.
