We are looking for a dedicated investigator to join our busy team of trading standards staff, as a Consumer Protection Officer.

This role will involve the enforcement of the full range of trading standards legislation, including giving advice to businesses, deal with complaints, investigate rogue trading and take enforcement action, including giving evidence in court when required.

You will need excellent communication skills, be a team player able to work with a range of partners, and be able to plan and carry out your own workload.

Essential qualifications:
HNC / NVQ level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject

Due to the requirement to drive a County Council vehicle in this role, appointment will be subject to the production of a valid driving licence for the required category of vehicle and the satisfactory completion of an in-house Driver Induction Assessment
