Hotspur is a vibrant primary school in Heaton that serves a richly diverse community. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and efficient administrator to join our school office team. You will need to enjoy working in a busy environment and have excellent organisational, communication and IT skills.

The school office team provide a welcoming environment to parents, pupils and visitors whilst providing comprehensive administrative and hospitality support to the school. A key aspect of this role will be to provide administrative support to our childcare facility Treehouse, which runs breakfast, after-school and holiday clubs.

Please note this role is all year round and annual leave is expected to be taken in school holiday periods.

The hours of work are Wednesday 8.45 – 4.45pm, Thursday 8.45am – 4.45pm and Friday 8.30am – 4pm to complement our existing team.

The main requirements of the post are:
• Welcoming visitors to school;
• Dealing with pupil, parent and visitor enquiries effectively, efficiently and politely;
• Supporting school staff with administrative tasks;
• Providing support to the School Business Manager and other members of the Leadership Team.

The successful candidate should be:
• A brilliant communicator;
• Highly organised, adaptable and able to work autonomously;
• Able to multi-task and prioritise a diverse workload;
• Someone with a positive attitude, good sense of humour and enthusiasm; and
• Enjoy working collaboratively.
