Applications are invited for this new temporary post of Social Care Learning and Development Officer – project support working across three projects within Adult Care and Commissioning services

The purpose of the post is to design, develop, implement, commission and evaluate high quality learning and development programmes to effectively develop the Adult and Health Service workforce. These will be allied to adult care transformation, provider development and an OD strategy for staff working in an integrated team setting.

We are looking for someone with experience in:
• The provision and delivery of training, learning and/or development;
• Devising and evaluating training programmes;
• Working within a culture of continuous improvement;
• Engaging and working collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and service users;
• Leading and managing change;
• The development of initiatives associated with services for adults;
• Budget management;
• Project management.

Applicants should also have personal commitment and drive and be able to work under pressure, prioritise work and meet deadlines.

Qualifications - Applicants must hold a Degree or final professional qualification in training, teaching or learning and development.
