St Augustine's Catholic Primary School is a larger than average primary school situated in Gateshead. Our longserving, dedicated and successful headteacher is retiring. The Governors are seeking to appoint a new Headteacher who is passionate about primary education within the context of the Catholic Church. Our new Head Teacher will have the vision and drive to continue to move our school forward, supported by an ambitious team of governors, a strong leadership team and experienced staff.
The Governors wish to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and forward-thinking Head Teacher.
The successful candidate will:
Be a practising and committed Roman Catholic
Have a clear vision of excellence in Catholic primary education
Be a caring and inspirational leader, passionate about enabling pupils
and staff to shine, develop their potential and celebrate their talents
Have a proven track record of raising standards, improving Teaching and
Learning and leading and implementing whole-school initiatives
Be a natural communicator, able to build on our well-developed partnerships
with pupils, staff, parents, parish and wider community
