The Governors are seeking to appoint a suitable candidate to this permanent position on the Senior Leadership Team of Hill Top School.

Post: Senior Teacher with lead responsibility for:-

Achievement & Progress
Pupil Behaviour and Wellbeing
Class Teacher 40%

The key responsibilities for this post are in addition to any teacher's current responsibilities.

To take a lead on Achievement & Progress across the whole school. To ensure all assessments are completed & recorded on time.
To work with Admin support to ensure data is collated effectively & efficiently and entered into management systems.
Analysis of all data using CASPA.
To be actively involved in reporting of achievement & progress to parents. (including Annual Reviews & Annual reports & Parents evenings).
To be involved in analysis of pupil work and measuring progress (marking).
Examinations Officer (supporting role to Sandra Cooper).
To direct the work of the staff and partners involved in developing Achievement & Progress across the school.
Member of Senior Leadership Team.

This is an opportunity for a teacher to take a leadership role in school, with responsibility for a key area of development.

The person appointed to this post will be given specific leadership & management time (expected 4 periods per week).

We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic teacher who has a commitment to ensuring pupils and students make the very best progress.

An excellent classroom practitioner.
Skills and knowledge in all areas of achievement & progress.
Able to lead work with other staff.
Able to demonstrate good organisational skills and abilities to meet deadlines.
Able to work as part of a team (at all levels).
