We are seeking a suitably qualified teacher of Geography from September 2019. We are a popular Academy, consistently oversubscribed, with standards at KS4 rising rapidly. Examination results are good, with value added in 2018 being significantly above the national average and the average grade students left with was a GCSE grade 5. Geography is part of the Humanities Faculty and plays crucial part in the number of students achieving Ebacc - in 2018 42% of students achieved Standard Pass, with 26.3% achieving Strong Pass.

As a member of a strong and well established team, you will teach students across the ability range and foster a love of Geography through teaching which supports, engages and challenges learners to achieve their best. You will join a Geography department, and Humanities Faculty which are popular and successful subject with our students.

Applications are welcomed from newly qualified teachers or an experienced teacher seeking development into future subject leadership. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the age and ability range.
