Darlington Borough Council is seeking to recruit a Social Worker to work within the Children’s Access Point. This role is office based and we provide the first response to all enquires and requests for information and advice from both professionals and members of the public. ASYE will be considered but you will need to have had experience in children safeguarding and/or the screening of contacts into the department. You will be required to engage with a wide audience of professionals and members of the public therefore excellent interpersonal skills are required.
You will have access to regular training and support from senior managers and we are a Local Authority that insists on regular reflective supervision.
