POSITION NUMBER: 50006282
Grade: 1 - Spine Point 13 (£17,391 Pro Rata)
Term Time only (38 weeks pro rata) 5.00 hours per week (1 hour per day)

Required as soon as possible.

The Governors and Head Teacher wish to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to:-

• help supervise children during the lunchtime break
• to be part of a team of lunchtime assistants responsible for securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of our pupils during the lunchtime break
• to help supervise and engage children in activities
• duties to include supervising pupils in the dining hall and outside in the yard/field areas.

Successful applicants must be able to listen and respond appropriately to children’s needs.

School safeguards and protects its students and staff by being committed to respond in accordance with Sunderland Local Safeguarding Board Procedures. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure & Barring Service.

An enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service, Pre-Occupational Health Check and completed Disqualification by Association Declaration are an essential part of the selection and recruitment process.
