Support Assistant: 17.5 hours per week (approx. 8.40am-12.10pm daily), term time only.

Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant: 5 hours per week (approx. 12.10pm-1.10pm daily), term time only.

The Board of Trustees of SMART Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a Support Assistant at Mountfield Primary School to work with small groups of children under the direction of the class teacher.

The role also includes providing support/care to children during the midday break.

The successful applicant will have:
• Good skills in literacy and numeracy.
• Confidence to plan for, work with and assess the progress of children –under the direction of the class teacher.
• An ability to use ICT systems.
• Experience of working with children who need additional individual / small group intervention to assist learning.
• The ability to supervise children both inside and outside during the lunch break.
