Applications are invited for the post of Keelman Homes Development and Operations Manager.

Keelman Homes is a not-for-profit charity based in the borough of Gateshead, in north east England.

The charity was set up in 2009 to develop nearly 150 new homes for rent, sale and shared ownership in Kibblesworth, south Gateshead. This was completed with the support of The Gateshead Housing Company, Gateshead Council and the Homes & Communities Agency.

It is now building more modern family homes across the borough, working in partnership with The Gateshead Housing Company and Gateshead Council.

As Development and Operations Manager you will play a role within The Gateshead Housing Company’s management team and reporting directly to the Managing Director.

You will be responsible for leading on the strategic objectives of Keelman Homes which include providing quality homes and quality housing management services to improve the lives of residents and communities.

You will have a significant track-record of successful management of relevant aspects of the affordable housing development gained at a senior level within a local authority, registered provider, government body or agency, private developer or similar.

In addition, you will have a successful record of working effectively with a range of partners.

You should be educated to degree level or equivalent; and have evidence of a commitment to continuing professional development.
