We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner to join our Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy & Sensory Service. The post holder will play an active part in assisting the Team Manager in the delivery of the therapy services.
The main duties will comprise of deputising for the OT Manager and provide assistant managerial cover to support the workers within the sensory services section. Your caseload will comprise of complex adult and children cases.
It is expected that you will have a higher knowledge of skills and expertise of Occupational Therapy for Adults and Children with Complex Disabilities, and will be able to provide professional advice, expert guidance, and support to your OT colleagues, both formally and informally. The post will be based at Central House, Gladstone Street, Darlington.
To be eligible, you must possess a professional Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
