Required from the 1st September 2019, our fast-paced school is looking for a new Enhanced Teaching Assistant to build on the success which our school is currently enjoying. With hard work and dedication, our staff team have transformed Silver Tree Primary School and Nursery and was delighted to be awarded ‘Good School’ status, by Ofsted in June 2018.
We strive for our children and staff to love being part of our community, ensuring they leave us with fond memories and a firm foundation from which to grow for the rest of their lives.
The successful candidate will be wholly committed to becoming an integral member of our hard-working and dedicated team. They will demonstrate skills in the following areas:
• Hold high expectations of pupils and a strong commitment to raising standards
• Will make learning exciting, memorable and enjoyable
• Experience and a keen interest in supporting all pupils including those with a SEN
• Have a sense of humour and willingness to work as part of a team
• Have a commitment to the whole life of the school, including the provision of extra-curricular activities.
• Fulfilment of the Durham County Council Grade 5 Job Description.

Essential Qualifications:
NVQ3 or equivalent / GCSE's or equivalent in Maths and English (grade A-C)

Interview date: Friday 3rd May 2019.
