Job Location: Education Development Centre, Spennymoor, however you may be required to work at any council workplace within County Durham.

Durham Educational Psychology Service is a highly valued and expanding service located across 4 Locality EP Teams. We are looking for creative and enthusiastic colleagues with good interpersonal and communication skills to join the Educational Psychology Service in Durham. You would be joining a Service that provides a wide range of interventions and projects within schools and Early Years Settings within the broader context of a vibrant Specialist SEND and Inclusion Service in a range of psychology led multidisciplinary teams offering excellent professional development and career opportunities.

We offer an excellent induction package and supervision as well peer support and opportunities to work into range of projects and specialist areas. We have a commitment to supporting staff to follow their own professional interests and have a strong programme of continuing professional development.

Own transport or means of mobility essential as you will be required to travel around the Local Authority.

Required qualifications:
• A degree in Psychology or equivalent as agreed by BPS
• Eligibility for Chartered Status and HCPC Registration
• Approved Educational Psychology training

The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
