Darlington Hippodrome is looking for a Course Assistant to assist on its Youth Dance courses for children and young people, from ages 5 to 18.

You will be interested in working in an arts setting, supporting the Course Tutor to develop the young people’s skills and creative ideas in dance, as well as having commitment and enthusiasm for delivering exciting quality arts experiences. Candidates will ideally have a qualification in dance, and be passionate about working with children and young people.

Flexibility, a willingness to be involved, get creative and work as part of a team and ability to maintain accurate registers and course files, as well as a commitment to excellent customer service are essential.

Sessions currently take place Tuesdays 5-6pm and Saturdays 9.30-11.30am during term time, however sessions are also occasionally organised over School holiday periods.
