Newcastle City Council Revenues, Benefits and Exchequer Team is undergoing major transformation and we are implementing new and leaner operating models. We are looking to recruit experienced officers to join our successful and dynamic team.
As Debt Recovery Officer you will be responsible for collection, recovery and enforcement of income from sundry debt and housing benefit overpayments. You will work as part of a team dealing with all aspects of sundry debt recovery, ideally you will have experience of working in this area or working within a financial, customer or debt recovery environment. You will also require excellent communication skills and the ability to process high volumes of work accurately within prescribed deadlines.
