The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic Enhanced Teaching Assistant SEN from November 2019 on a full time/term time basis, fixed term contract until 31st August 2020.
You will need to have worked cooperatively as part of a team within a school for children and young people with one or more of the following: PMLD, SLD, ASC, High Medical Needs and challenging behaviour. Have a clear understanding of the requirements for the care, education, health and welfare of children and young people. Have knowledge of sensory difficulties and their management.
He or she will also have a proven record of using their initiative in their work, good team work and excellent communication skills with a range of professionals and parents.
In house training in the communication systems and behaviour management techniques used in school will be provided.
