We are seeking to appoint a full time Education & Employment Mentor who will work closely with the SEND Supported Employment Officer to arrange training, work experience and work placements for SEND learners aged between 16 and 25.
The post holder will provide information, advice and guidance to learners as well as working with employers to provide a mentoring support service.
The successful applicant will have experience of employer engagement, a knowledge of disability and employment issues and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.
Required qualifications: Level 2 qualification in relevant field e.g. Supported Employment Related Services.
The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
