Tynedale House provides support to people with a learning disability and some associated complex health care needs. The service provides a 24 bed residential unit for older people with learning disabilities, and a 6 bed respite unit for people over the age of 18.
The role:
The post holder will be expected to work on Bebside respite unit, although would be expected to work on other units when required within the home. The respite and residential units cover a wide range of clients with varying complex needs and challenging behaviours. This is a permanent, full time post.

Essential requirements:
- basic numeracy and literacy skills
- experience in care setting
- Flexible approach
- commitment to providing a quality service and undertake job related training with a minimum of QCF level 2
- good communication skills
