‘Artichoke has been re-commissioned by Durham County Council to produce a sixth edition of the light festival for Durham. The festival is the result of 18 months of planning, and will transform the city into a nocturnal wonderland as dozens of local and international artists create a series of installations and projections, illuminating buildings, streets and bridges.
After the success of Artichoke’s previous production trainee schemes, we are excited to be able to offer a number of production traineeships on this year’s Lumiere festival. The scheme offers the opportunity for those who are interested in developing a career in artistic event management to gain experience of working on a large-scale outdoor arts event as well as access to expert knowledge and training workshops with the Lumiere team.
The scheme is specifically targeted at those from or based in the ACE North East region.
Closing date: Monday 30th September, 12pm
Interviews: Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th October. Interviews will be held in Durham
