Northumberland Youth Justice Service are seeking to appoint a deputy manager with motivation and vision to assist the team manager to manage and co-ordinate youth justice services in our area.
You will have the drive and determination to contribute to the future development of NYJS, improving performance and ensuring quality in the delivery of our work.

Northumberland YJS is part of Northumberland Adolescent Service and you will join a strong and experienced management team and a stable, integrated and committed workforce who are focused on improving outcomes for young people through the application of best practice and high professional standards.
You must have proven management skills, experience of working in youth justice or a related area and the ability to lead, develop and support a team of youth justice staff.
You should have experience of working with young people with complex needs and a proven ability to improve outcomes. The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues from partner agencies is a key skill for achieving success in this role.
You will need to lead on a number of themes including Out-Of-Court disposals and education / training and employment.
