We are seeking to appoint a Curriculum Manager who can demonstrate outstanding and impactful leadership and management within the GCSE Maths and Test the City teams. You will play an integral role in supporting the Head of Maths in managing and developing key improvements within study programme GCSE maths. In addition you will collaborate with Head of Maths to improve learner outcomes for 16-18 and our adult provision.

You will have a proven track record of successful innovation and leadership of an aspect of maths specifically, study programme GCSE Maths. The successful candidate must have experience of operationally supporting curriculum management. You will act as an improvement lead within a curriculum programme and must have accurate, impactful data and quality assurance skills and knowledge.

You will need to be an innovative and outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practitioner. You must ensure positive outcomes are achieved for learners and be able to support teachers with curriculum development and standardisation initiatives.

This post requires versatility, innovation and diversity regarding curriculum delivery as there is a strong focus upon development across these large curriculum programme areas. You will be an integral part of the curriculum team and management structure, driving forward the College’s strategic approach to improving English and maths skills.

Candidates should have an appropriate degree, have fully qualified lecturing or teaching status and experience of teaching maths. Applicants should be able to demonstrate, in their personal statement, practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
