We require road workers to work in small teams carrying out our hard landscaping schemes and construction work across the town.

Training/experience/qualifications in the following is desirable.

Heavy Goods/LGV
Hiab – Lorry loader
JCB
Dumper
Roller
Abrasive Wheels
Gritting experience/qualifications
Ladder training – working at heights
Gully Cleaner

Duties will include:

Paving/Flagging work
Road surfacing - Tarmac works
Street furniture, signage installation
NRASWA Streetworks is essential for this position or similar for example NVQ in Highways.

Experience in Manual Handling is desirable, as is the ability to work as part of a team and in all weather conditions.

You will be required to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday - 7.30am to 3.30pm, Friday - 7.30am to 3.00pm.
