The Governors and Head of Centre are seeking to appoint 2 highly committed, enthusiastic, talented practitioners to support the teaching and learning at this award winning Nursery School. Our friendly and welcoming Centre offers seamless education, care and learning where there are high expectations and aspirations for raising children’s achievement.
Temporary Early Years Practitioners (to cover maternity leave)
(Secondments will be considered with the expectation of returning to the substantive post following the end of the contract
2 x All Year Round posts (37 hours per week) starting December 2019
Grade 2, Points 5-6, £18,795 to £19,171
Required from January 2019 to December 2020 (or sooner if post holders return ahead of date)
The post holders will work within the Early Years team to deliver the key principles of effective teaching, learning and welfare requirements across the Centre, so to improve outcomes for all children. The position is to support and contribute to the teaching, learning and care of children from Birth to Five years, by outstanding Early Years practice, good organisational and interpersonal skills.
A minimum Early Years Level 3 qualification is required, together with 1 year’s relevant experience of working with young children. In line with the updated EYFS Statutory Framework a current Paediatric Firsts Aid Certificate and a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths are desirable requirements.
