The Learning Support team is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, experienced and qualified members of staff to provide English and maths support for any student up to GCSE level who is experiencing difficulties meeting the English and maths requirements of their study programme.
Successful applicants will have a learner support or teaching background. Applicants will also be required to hold a relevant level 3 qualification or be willing to work towards this.
Experience of working in classroom support and an awareness of responsibilities under disability discrimination legislation and the need for client confidentiality is also required.
Applicants must possess a good standard of verbal and written communication and must be able to work flexibly as part of a team who deliver this service throughout the College.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant experience in their personal statement, giving practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
These posts are permanent across all College campuses.
