Carers Together Foundation is an organisation dedicated to improving carers’ quality of life. We listen to carers, give them a voice, provide information, practical and emotional support and promote carers’ rights across the South Tees area.
We are seeking an experienced individual to continue the development of our volunteering programme and to deliver a programme of engagement activities to clients and the wider community.
To succeed in this role, the postholder will need to have:
• experience of developing and managing volunteer programmes, including the recruitment, training and supervision of volunteers.
• a successful track record of planning and delivering community engagement and awareness-raising events.
• up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance as it relates to volunteers and carers.
This role is based between offices in Middlesbrough and Redcar and the postholder must be able to travel between the two, and to attend community events in other locations.
